I work with capable women who are holding a lot.
I help them lead their lives proactively, before pressure turns into crisis.
Meet Coach Carolyn
Hi, I’m Carolyn Diers Kaneda, a certified life coach and systems strategist. I teach women how to build a life that works.
I’ve spent two decades helping capable people navigate complexity with clarity, accountability, and practical support. My work has always been about building classrooms, organizations, and lives that function well under real pressure.
Whether I was leading national trainings for overwhelmed educators or homeschooling my sons across the country, one truth has followed me everywhere: the things that keep life stable – health, home, relationships, & systems – are often the easiest to postpone, and the hardest to recover once they start to unravel.
I didn’t learn this from theory.
I lived it.
Why I Started Flourished Coaching
I created Flourished Coaching because I saw the same pattern over and over.
Women wait to ask for support not because they don’t care, but because they’re capable. They’re holding things together. Managing school, careers, relationships, homes, families, aging parents, finances, community commitments — or simply trying to figure out who they are becoming. As long as everything is still outwardly working, there’s no urgent problem to solve.
Then something shifts. Sometimes it’s perimenopause or menopause. Sometimes it’s a first job that feels heavier than expected. A relationship that isn’t as stable as it looks. A body that doesn’t respond the way it used to. A move. A breakup. A new responsibility. A quiet loss of momentum.
Life keeps moving, but not as smoothly. Energy drops. Focus slips. Tolerance shrinks. Behind the scenes, things begin to quietly strain. Women start to feel off, irritable, scattered, disorganized, and overwhelmed.
Part of it is biology. Part of it is the chapter of life, and part of it is years of pushing through instead of building support.
I’ve lived it. I’ve supported clients through it. I understand it deeply.
Most women were never taught to invest in support for early strain. They invest in what’s visible and easy to justify — upgrades, quick resets, surface-level fixes, the next productivity tool.
Real support is not a spa day.
It’s structure.
It’s follow through.
It’s clarity.
It’s relief from the mental load.
It’s learning how to build a life that works before it starts to unravel.
And when women do invest more deeply, it’s not because self improvement is fun. They invest because they want their lives to work.
They want healthy bodies that don’t become the next emergency. They want dreams fulfilled. They want children who are supported and thriving. They want calm homes, lighter marriages, and aging parents who are cared for before a scramble begins. They want systems that don’t rely on constant mental load.
Women invest heavily in helping the people and systems that depend on them. Their definition of success is everyone else thriving or the external looking the part. And yet, many still don’t feel right.
Flourished Coaching exists to support women at the wobble point, when something feels off, before it becomes urgent.
I help women take action early, so pressure does not turn into crisis and strong habits and systems see them through.
In their health.
In their homes.
In their relationships.
In their family systems.
This is not reactive help.
It’s proactive leadership.

A Bit More About Me
I’m originally from New York and now live in sunny Southern California with my husband and two teenage sons, one launching to college this fall. In 2019, I paused my career to travel the country and homeschool my boys—an experience that reaffirmed everything I believe:
Growth takes reflection and hard work.
Real change happens when we feel supported.
Outside of coaching, I lift weights, cook, knit, golf, volunteer in my community, and geek out on research and podcasts about health, longevity, organization, and motivation for women in midlife.
I’ve written three nonfiction books I’m finally preparing to publish—because I believe in modeling what I coach: turning “one day” into day one.
Let's Work Together
Let’s stabilize what matters now
so life doesn’t demand it later.
